This 5-week series led by experienced endurance athletes and coaches focuses on the differences between road running and trail running, and helps people learn different access points and trail networks around the city of Portland, Oregon. Each week the one-hour session will start in a different location, will have a planned topic where the instructors give detailed tips on technique, and will cover commonly asked questions regarding trail etiquette, map reading/navigation, and more! Participants should be able to run 3 miles comfortably. Sessions will vary from 3-5 miles on hilly off-road terrain, but the group will be stopping often to regroup and receive instruction.
